Delete your Trackk account

We respect your right to walk away. You can permanently delete your Trackk account and all of the personal data associated with it.

Option 1 — In-app (recommended, fastest)

Open Trackk.
Go to Profile (bottom-right tab).
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Confirm. Your account, transactions, groups, goals, and any data stored in our cloud are scheduled for immediate deletion.

You will be signed out. The app will continue to work in local-only mode if you re-install it — none of your previous data will be recovered.

Option 2 — By email

If you cannot access the app (lost phone, locked out, etc.), email us from the address you used to sign up to:

support@trackk2save.com Subject: Account deletion request

Please include the email address or phone number you signed up with. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request to prevent malicious deletions.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted:

Your profile, transactions, goals, budgets, custom categories, and notes are permanently removed from our active systems.
Your private cloud data in Cloud Firestore (if cloud sync was enabled) is deleted immediately.
Authentication records are deleted from Firebase Authentication.
Backups are purged within 30 days from the deletion date as part of our rolling-backup rotation.

What may be retained

We may retain a small amount of data, only where law requires us to, for the periods specified in our Privacy Policy:

Records required for tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations (typically for the period required by Indian law).
Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot be traced back to you.
Group expenses you participated in continue to exist on the group document while the group itself still exists (so the other members’ ledgers don’t break), but your personal identifiers are removed from your splits.

How long it takes

Deletion is processed within 30 days of your request, in line with the timelines in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the GDPR.
